What is Certificate of Merit

Certificate of Merit (CM) is an educational music program designed to challenge
and encourage students as they are studying their chosen instrument. The
program is open to any students studying with a teacher who is a member of
MTAC. Certificate of Merit is sponsored and run by MTAC and now annually
tests approximately 30,000 students statewide.

2016-2017 Dates for Contra Costa County:

Enrollment open October 1-31, 2016

Deadline to submit payment: November 10th, 2016

Evaluation dates: March 4, 5, 11 and 12, 2017

Branch Honors Recitals: March 25 - 26, 2017 : Venues will be announced later.
